Observation Number One

Observation Site Three
I walked down to the creek hearing the running water, and the cold chill in the air. When I looked down I saw Raccoon tracks in a sandbar in the creek.
After spotting the tracks i noticed this Algae floating gracefully in the creek.
Heading back up to the class me and Autumn Wood noticed this burrow in the ground and thought it would be a nice place for a little mammal to crawl into.

Observation Number One

Site Two
From our location we could see a small creek flowing from the pond beside us. We could feel a breeze and hear running water.
I spotted this tree and noticed the moss at the bottom. It had grown all the way around the base. It felt a little fuzzy.

Observation Site Number One

Site One
We found this nest at a top of a very tall tree. We did not see any wildlife in it but we heard wildlife around us. Assuming the wildlife we heard lived in the nest.
Sabrina, Autumn Wood, Katelynn, and I felt very cold during this observation. What we saw was worth the chill of the January air.
Katelynn was the first to spot this tree bark missing. She quickly ran over and took a picture. The tree where the bark was missing felt soft and damp.
